Other options include trading with the Wretched Broker, completing certain prophecies on the Fated List, or saving 1,000 gold for Charon's high-ticket shop in the Temple of Styx. To earn diamonds in Hades, defeat the Bone Hydra with each Infernal Arm, and then repeat with an easy modifier active on the Pact of Punishment - Convenience Fee works well. It'll cost five diamonds, so it's time to hunt some bounties. Go grab it, and after another run, the House Contractor should have available the Hero's Sacrifice work order. Be sure to have given her at least five nectar. Speak with her whenever possible, and Nyx will soon disclose the location of the contract, buried among Hades' mess of scrolls. With the chamber open, it's time to ask Nyx's help in locating Achilles' contract. Instead, he'll offer one of several rare items, and shoo Zag away. Read the entry on Patroclus in the codex, and soon afterward he'll be available to gift and converse with. At first, the hero is unnamed and rather uninterested in speaking with Zagreus. He can be found in Elysium, in the special NPC chamber marked by an exclamation mark. ![]() Patroclus, on the other hand, is a bit more difficult to locate. Achilles stands guard in the House of Hades from the beginning of the game, and as Zagreus' mentor, is often available to talk with. To begin reuniting the two long-separated lovers, both must first be located in the Underworld. ![]() In Hades, players can bring them back together, continuing their story to a happier conclusion. One of these characters is Patroclus, a fallen warrior from Greek myth with romantic ties to Achilles. ![]() While Zagreus is ransacking Hades' domain from Tartarus through to the surface, he'll encounter a number of new faces. In addition to escaping the Underworld, Hades offers a number of compelling side-quests.
